I’m a photographer, or at least I think I am. I’m a psychoanalytically-oriented psychotherapist by profession and have been in love with photography and film since my childhood. I remember that my grandfather always had the most amazing cameras, and he would always let me use them. One day, we were in the car, and I dared to tell him that I wanted to be a photographer. He looked at me and said, “Are you sure? A photographer is someone who can find beauty even in that old wall”. I never told him, but when I saw that old wall, I saw it. I found the beauty, or at least I understood everything that wall could tell.

Now, as an adult, I realize I no longer play as I once did, but my favorite toy has always been my camera. Sōzō Photo 創造 is my attempt to reconnect with that inner child and resume the game.

My interest lies in bringing that childhood game to life through creativity, through photography. Sōzō Photo 創造combines the characters 創 (Sō) and 造 (Zō), which respectively refer to the ideas of "creating" and "producing."

What I want is to capture the essence of each moment from my own perspective, whether we call it professional or not, maybe just playful. I’m inspired by the idea of "preserving important moments," of "finding the exact moment," or "creating those unforgettable moments." My idea is to play with light, capture it at its perfect moment, or perhaps not so precisely, but always making way for photographs that capture deep feelings and lasting memories.

From intimate portraits to vibrant urban scenes, my goal is not simply to look, but to "observe," to pay attention to what gives that unique aspect, offering a singular perspective on what the camera can reveal. Through each photograph, I seek to freeze time, allow a journey through time, create shared moments, tell new stories, or simply let oneself go in the nostalgia of the past.
